I have been in Shanghai for six months now. My intention to creatively ground my various projects is still in the “intention phase” rather than the completed box. Why? Because I am not walking my walk and talking my talk. I know that laughter works. That it is good for my health, motivation, creativity, increased productivity, and emotional state.
It is like turning things on their head, or maybe it is about moving from head to heart. Moving from what I ‘believe is possible’ to what I ‘KNOW in my heart is possible’. Implicit in this is the decision. The decision to take action, instead of perfecting the art of procrastination. ‘I can do it later’, ‘let’s go to star bucks once again and check the emails’. ‘What is on at the Movies?’, ‘Have another piece of carrot cake’. Let’s spend more time fooling myself that I am taking the steps when clearly I have not been.
