Children laugh around 150-200 times per day on average.
Adults on average laugh only 3-4 times per day.
Often people say "you have to work long and hard to be successful."
Yes, you need to focus fully on a goal if you want to achieve it, but it doesn’t need to be stressful.
Stress shows up both in individuals and organizations. We can either choose to allow problems to distract us and lead us into stress, or we can redirect our tension and change our focus towards achieving our goals. Successful companies recognize the need for stress management. Since 2002 HSBC in Hong Kong has offered its employees yoga, dance and health seminars, and stress management workshops. Meanwhile Google incorporates fun and creativity into their work environment. Engineers are encouraged to spend 20% of their time dreaming up new ideas. The result? Google is one of the most favoured and successful companies to work for.
Laughtercise is a group activity where laughing exercises are interspersed between body and breathing relaxation.
It is exercise which employees don't need to change their clothes for. Through a range of exercises, we can guide ourselves to a space where we can release our tension positively through laughter. Furthermore, it builds a bridge of trust among coworkers and allows healthier functioning of the neural pathways, paving the way for greater flow in decision-making.
